If I had known it didn't have a clock and timer I would have found one that did. If you like having a pot waiting for you when you get up this one won't do it. Other than that it's a good coffee maker. Works Great. Only thing that is missing is a clock and brew timer.
And I think that the coffee is hot enough. What a great machine. that of course you have to add MORE WATER THAN YOU NEED for the espresso, so that the EXTRA can be used for steam. The only thing I couldn't figure out at first was how the milk frother worked.
I love my Mr. Of course, I don't like my coffee scalding hot, either.All in all, if I had it all to do over again, I would have done it sooner, and not spent so much time wondering and worrying about it. Duh.I do not have a problem with coffee spilling everywhere, because I raise the lid with my thumb when I pour. Coffee coffee and espresso maker.
I did not realize, (stupid me). It truly is a remarkable machine for the price. I was daunted by some of the negative reveiws it received, but I went ahead and purchased it anyway, because it was the only one I could afford. It does everything just like it's supposed to; it was so easy, I didn't even have to read the directions.
More plastic than I expected and doesn't have a timer but great price and makes good coffee.
This is my first time using an espresso machine and I think for the money it does a great job. I contacted Mr Coffee about this and they sent me a replacement, with a longer spout that doesn't spill, within 3 days. Thanks for all of the reviews :) After reading all of the comments, I purchased this machine and am very happy with it. As others commented, the carafe spout does spill if you don't pour it very slowly.
Also some customers complained about the expresso part not heating the coffee hot enough - I haven't had this problem. If Mr coffee would fix the pour spout I would give this 5 stars. Since buying this item about 3 months ago it has worked wonderfully.Some other buyers have complained how the coffee caraffe splashes and is difficult to pour - I agree; it just takes a little different technique to pour smoothly. So far, no problems. However I am very satisfied with my purchase. Once you master that it's just fine. I like the removable water reservoir.
